You will need:

1. an excellent command of the English language and a good knowledge of the rules of grammar and punctuation;
2. your own computer and transcribing equipment with relevant software;
3. the capacity to turn around work within 24 hours when necessary.

Being able to understand a broad range of international accents will be advantageous.

Payment rates range between US$21 and US$85.80 per audio hour transcribed.
