Job Description
We are hiring a Hand Sander Operator to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- You will smooth surface furniture parts preparatory to finishing, or between finish coats, using sandpaper and steel wool.
- Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Feels surface of the sanded article for smoothness.
- May mark defects, such as knotholes, cracks, and splits to facilitate repair of the article.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, furniture manufacturing, or other related fields is preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Familiar with sanding tools
