1967 Ford Mustang Restomod

1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Eleanor Restomod Tribute. Original C code V8 car with a 5.0 Liter engine. (less than 2000 miles since rebuilt) Eleanor CA black plates are for novelty purposes only, but will be included with the car along with current CA plates. It has recently received restoration work. This Mustang is in good running/driving condition with lots of new parts!!!

BODY:

California Pony Notchback
Paint is Ford Shadow Black with Ford Performance White GT Lemans stripes. Paint is base coat clear cut and polished to a high shine. Lemans stripes are painted on not decals. Many new exterior parts and add ons: Eleanor fiberglass short hood and ducktail fiberglass trunk lid, front and rear color matched bumpers, New matte black billet grille and trim, new billet Cobra gas cap, new bullet mirrors, Staggered FR500 black wheels 18x9 front 18x10 rear, new Cobra/G500 exterior emblems, custom flush rear LED taillights. All exterior trim is in nice shape, exterior lighting, turn signals, brake lights all function properly.

ENGINE:

The engine is a rebuilt 302 cubic inch performance V8 with no issues. Engine runs great, starts right up and does not smoke or boil over. It has the Edelbrock Performer top end package including: Performer aluminum intake manifold, Performer aluminum water pump and Performer 600CFM 4V carburetor. Lots of new parts installed: New Pro Comp aluminum heads, new B303 performance camshaft, new K&N air breather, New polished aluminum finned valve covers, new Pro Billet HEI distributor, new Optima Red Top battery, new Duralast alternator, new Duralast mini starter, new, new Carter fuel pump, new starter solenoid, serpentine belt conversion, recent oil change and coolant flush. Exhaust is long tube headers running into 2 1/2 inch dual piping with Flowmaster Super 10 series mufflers with side exit exhaust tips. Car sounds awesome with a nice deep rumble. Transmission is a rebuilt 5 speed T5 with new hydraulic clutch for easy operation.

INTERIOR:

The interior has been redone with new seat upholstery, new carpet, new custom door panels, new dash pad, new Cruiser full length center console, new headliner, Pony floor mats, aftermarket CD player installed with 4 way speakers. Interior gauges and dash illumination works, but the heater, windshield wipers, horn and dome light have been disabled due to previous owner installing a new wire harness which was never completed.

​BRAKES/SUSPENSION:

Ford Crown Victoria 4 wheel front and rear disc brake conversion with new master cylinder. Brake pads front and rear shocks were recently replaced. The rear has adjustable air shocks. Suspension is all stock with coil springs up front and leaf springs in the rear. The stock rear end has been swapped out to an 8.8 inch rear end with 4:11 gears and mini spool. Car brakes and rides nicely. Trunk is clean no rust new trunk mat with spare cover.
