The restoration was just completed on this 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. This is a PHS documented Y88 car. The car was soda blasted to bare metal and then painted black with a two stage paint. The new graphics are from Phoenix Graphix. All of the weatherstrips were replaced. The motor is a 400 Pontiac that was rebuilt with a Ram Air 3 cam from Butler Performance. The heads are 6X-4's. The carburetor was rebuilt by BFIC. The radiator is a 4 row brass radiator. There is less than 100 miles on the motor. The interior has been restored with new seat covers, door panels, carpet, door sills, headliner, visors, package tray and pedal covers. The stereo is a new Kenwood AM/FM/CD/IPod with 6X9 speakers. The interior plastic pieces were redyed in the correct Camel/tan. The 15X8 snowflake wheels were soda blasted then painted gold and finally machined like the factory originally did them. The tires are BF Goodrich 245/60/15 with less than 100 miles as well. This is a beautiful car that attracts attention where ever it goes. The mileage reads 54990,
