You are now viewing my European specification All American 1968 Jaguar XKE series 1.5 Open Two Seater .Included
with this car is the Jaguar Heritage certificate stating the year of this car to be 1967.It does have a 1.5
upgraded interior so this car is on the cusp of a changeover from 1 to 1.5 series.
This car has been the subject of an 18 month cost no object virtual re manufacture. With the exception of the
Engine, transmission and original body..over 95% of all other parts have been replaced , not restored ,With at or
above original quality Official Jaguar parts or better.
Built in December 1967, it arrived in the USA in January 1968 and was registered in 68'
This XKE started out life as a one owner southern California car, and remained a single owner car its entire
life till 2014. Because of the completely accident free , rust free ownership history this car has, it was hand
selected to receive a process such as I am about to explain.
The following remanufacture consists of but is not limited to these procedures and replacement Items.
It would take more words than I am allotted here to describe all that has been done, I will leave your
imagination up to the rest when you finish reading this ad and reviewing all the pics.
To Start ,every single removable part was disassembled and the undercarriage was perfected, rust proofed and
painted with the rest of car.
The Original 4.2 engine with matching Jaguar Heritage cert. has been rebuilt to modern day standards including
modern seals, New pistons, new up rated cams and valves . The fitment of an electronic distributor and brand new
triple SU carbs along with new ceramic coated headers and a new SS exhaust system
