1966 Corvette Stingray Convertible with matching numbers engine and drivetrain just waiting for you. This beautiful
Sunfire Yellow Vette sports a 327/300-hp engine with a Muncie 4-speed transmission and 336 Posi rear diff. Also
features factory power steering and much more. It’s a classic you don’t want to pass up. The perfect driver and
even better show car. It has it all. This collectible has been meticulously cared for. All receipts from 1976 until
2015 included.
New tires, gas shocks, third member mount, brakes, clutch, clutch linkage, throwout bearing with resurfaced
flywheel and a new ring gear. Also new starter motor, fan clutch, battery, alternator, hoses, jet coated exhaust
headers, carb (600cfm) and the heads were completely rebuilt in 2013. New fuel tank, sending unit and gauge
cluster. New taillight lenses and gaskets. Extra windshield. The top is in beautiful condition and so is the
interior, including the factory seatbelts.
The body is arrow-straight and features the trademark fender vents. Other distinctive features on the 1966
Corvette Stingray include the frontal eggcrate grille insert to replace the previous horizontal bars. Thanks to a
Posi rear end the car has unlimited power and never overheats. Power brakes and power steering add to the ease of
driving and handling in just about every type of road condition. Verified Engine numbers read 6104500 and F1026HE
for this Flint, Michigan made Corvette.
Because it's a convertible and matching numbers, this car is the perfect collector vehicle for the purist looking
for something original. Values are going up steadily as '66 Corvettes dwindle in numbers. There's no reason to
wait, this is one of the best convertibles on the market.
