1986 Chevrolet G-Series Van G30 CARGO, 6.2L V8 OHV 16V DIESEL. What a beast! It has received regular maintenance for its entire life at the facility that has owned it. Vehicle has not been used very much. Motor was replaced recently. It has developed brake problems and they just did not feel like putting any additional money into it. Notes from a test drive: It had been sitting for about 3 months. It was a cold morning. It started after three attempts. Radio worked. Heater and fan worked. Wipers worked slowly at first and then got faster. Rides like a beast. When you brake it pulls to the left. That being said, it stopped OK in both a regular and panic stop. No "clunking" when shifted into reverse. When going straight it slowly moves to the right. NOTE: this originally had a diesel motor. A few years ago the motor gave up. It has been replaced with a 350 motor and matching transmission. This motor has a carburetor. The motor sounded OK. Their OPINION is that if it were driven more than a few times a year and given just a little more attention it would be a fun old van. SOLD AS-IS, WHERE-IS.
