Cockpit Engine room is easily accessed. The enclosed bridge of this large convertible is luxuriously appointed with guest seating, air-conditioning/heating, large helm console for all necessary flush-mounted electronics, two fully adjustable helm chairs, For cockpit visibility and backing up, Hatteras added an excellent outside aft bridge deck control station with a pod style helm and single lever controls along with buttons for trolling valves and low-idle modes. Helm included space for a full electronics package (depth finder, GPS, radio, temperature gauge). To starboard, a cushioned seat allowed guests to enjoy the view from above. Access to an optional tower/outriggers was via a center-mounted ladder, and access to the bridge from cockpit is through a hatch that could be tightly latched either open or closed. Flybridge hardtop was extended to shade the bridge aft deck. Hatteras also offered an open bridge layout for the 70 Convertible. Interior appointments are also luxurious, as Hatteras has always aspired to balance tournament-level fishing with the comforts of a luxury cruising yacht.
