it is also important to elect a judge that is approachable and fair. Many of those that appear in district court have never set foot inside a courtroom. Most are intimidated by the legal process and may be dealing with life-altering issues. It is important they encounter a judge who is patient and treats them with courtesy and respect. If elected, I will ensure that this occurs in my courtroom.

I believe that there is no better way to protect the public than this. As District Court Judge, I intend to utilize this sort of restorative justice to create the most favorable outcome for Muskegon County as a whole.
