The (IOP) Intensive Outpatient Program Atlanta, Decatur, Marietta- GA is a rehabilitation program that offers medically supervised detoxification and intensive outpatient treatment for drug and alcohol addiction.
The goal of an intensive outpatient program is to provide substance abuse treatment services in a supervised setting. The patients attend this program for one to six hours per day, five days a week. It has been found that more than half of people who have been through this type of treatment have been able to maintain their sobriety for over two years after they have completed the program.
