The area abounds with wildlife that includes deer, bear, moose, geese, mallards, loons, partridge, bald eagles, hawks, owls, raccoons and more. Many of which are seen right from the property.

Spring, summer and fall bring some of the best weather in the Northeast; warm sunny days on the semi-private beach and cool Adirondack Mountain nights filled with lake breezes, bright stars and the sounds of loons calling from the lake.

Winter brings fun and excitement with McCauley Mountain skiing, outdoor activities and events. Ledge View Lodge provides direct access to the hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails of the area known as the 'snowmobile capital of the east'.
