Job Description
Drive a 60 ton Heavy Haul Truck moving scrap from Port to Scrap Lines for offloading to Scrap Piles or to the Scrap Bays. Also, hauling scrap from Scrap lines for offloading to Scrap Bays. Requires working on and around barges and water. Required to assist other drivers with removing lids from covered barges.
Note Pay Rate for this Job is $14/Hour
Responsibilities Include:
Understands that safety comes before production at all times.
Follows all company policies.
Inspect assigned truck for any damage or defects at the beginning of shift and properly note all issues on a pre-use inspection form.
Drives truck over scales to get a tare weight at the beginning of the shift
Drives 60 ton trucks from the Port to Scrap Lines.
Accurately records weight from payload meter for scrap hauled to lines.
Drives trucks over scales and record accurate load weights for scrap hauled to the Scrap Line.
Qualifications:

Valid driver's license
Able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Some Auto Auction Driver assignments have additional screening requirements, such as an MVR check
Strong communication skills.
