IMMEDIATELY HIRING: Driver for local moving and storage company

We need an experienced mover to help run our company. Looking for someone with driving and furniture moving experience who has worked in the industry for at least a year. We move residences and offices in the Wasatch Front , Monday-Saturday.

Job responsibilities include:

1) Serving as crew lead: Working with other movers on your crew and keeping things going smoothly. Moving furniture, wrapping/properly protecting items, assembly/disassembly, and loading/packing the truck properly.

2) Communication with customer

3) Driving moving van to/from jobs safely.

4) Computing the bill and doing the paperwork.

Your pay wage depends on experience doing this kind of work, favorable background check, and the way you present yourself during an interview. Our trucks do not require CDL. We can train you to do our paperwork with customer, but the more you already know the more money you make. It is also very common to get cash tips from customers when you do a good job for them.

We absolutely do criminal background checks and drug tests before hiring!!

Wage (to start):

Little/no experience $13-14/hr.
Related industry experience (warehousing, delivery, etc.) $14-15/hr.
Related industry experience (warehousing, delivery, etc.) with driving experience and clear MVR $14-15/hr.
Moving specific experience, minimum 1 year $15-16/hr
Moving specific experience, minimum 1 year with driving experience and clear MVR $16-17/hr.
Moving specific experience, minimum 1 year with driving experience and clear MVR, AND outstanding reviews from previous employers or other references. You must be a seasoned mover with the skills to prove it, i.e., can move anything/everything in existence including grand pianos, safes, pool tables, etc., know how to pack fine china and load a trailer for cross country travel without any damage. This is the hot shot category! $17-19/hour for this kind of person.
