This position is for a lead engineer with the ability to architect FPGA based signal processing engines. The primary role will be leading physical layer development of terrestrial radio and television broadcast standards on our software defined modulator products. In addition, the person in this role will be the project lead for a combined team of internal and external resources.

Qualifications:
• BSEE
• 3+ years in a lead engineer role leading teams in the development of digital communication systems.
• 8+ years designing signal processing systems in Xilinx or Altera FPGAs using VHDL and/or Verilog. Experience should include simulation and modeling using Matlab or other simulation tools.
• 3+ years experience in the implementation of terrestrial radio and television broadcast standards such as ATSC, DVB-T, ISDB-T, and DVB-T2

Preferred Additional Skills:
• Modulation techniques including COFDM, QAM, QPSK, and 8VSB
• RF and analog signal processing
• Digital hardware circuit design and development
• MPEG video/audio signals and equipment
• Knowledge of the C and C++ programming languages
• Troubleshooting with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal sources
