Gould Intelligent is seeking an Oracle DBA for an 18 month contract in downtown Phoenix, AZ. Candidates must be available to interview in person. Must have 6 years Oracle DBA experience (or 2 years and a Bachelors degree). Candidates must have 2+ years experience with V11g or higher and must have experience installing, configuring, and tuning Oracle in Solaris and Unix/Linux environments. Must have experience defining DB architecture, documenting technical design and testing databases. Candidates must be able to transition data among development/test/QA/and production environments and have a strong understanding of database structures and normalization. Must be able to provide on call support on nights and weekends if needed.
