The PropleReady Branch # 1295, located at 4221 Garrett Rd Soute, Durham,NC 27707 is currently hiring a LEAD FACILITIES TECH Responsibilities include: Job Description o Prepare or assist in preparing all market-ready apartments under direction of the community GM/ED, which may include painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping. (at the direction of or working with the ED/GM) o Complete daily community inspections o Recommend the repair or replacement of any interior and/or exterior issues. o Follow all Facilities Department protocols (i.e., HVAC, carpet, mold, etc.) o Perform various preventative maintenance functions by utilizing the TELS Program. o Monitor the maintenance and upkeep of all mechanical equipment in the community, including but not limited to, water heaters, HVAC units, kitchen equipment, etc. o Perform various maintenance functions such as electrical/lighting repairs, pool maintenance, carpentry/ construction, furnace and air conditioner repairs, filter changing, coil cleaning, plumbing and appliance repairs, drywall and painting repairs, vinyl installation and repairs, minor roof repairs, etc. o Control Maintenance storage and mechanical rooms. Responsible for meeting standards of cleanliness and organization as set by Facilities Department. o Responsible for proper use, care, and inventory of all tools, equipment, and vehicles o Work to maintain grounds and common areas, keeping them free of trash and debris o Assist in monitoring capital improvement projects as needed o Attend and participate in training programs as requested by the Facilities Department. o Assist the RFD and/or Management Team with special Maintenance projects as necessary. o Represent the Holiday Community in a professional manner at all times. o Consistently maintain a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers, and the general public. o Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience o Meet Holiday U Maintenance educational and/or training requirements. o Demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability.
