Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced sales profession to join our team as a Territory Sales Manager in the New York Metro area (the territory includes New York City, Long Island, up to Syracuse) and Connecticut. The products include: filters, engine management, wiper blades and brakes.

Tasks
Meet or exceed sales quotas and goals as established for the district, increase sales volume of the accounts.
Promote sales of Bosch products and maintain forecasts through the proper development of distribution.
Maintain contact with second trade level customers (Jobbers, Dealers, BAPS, BCS, etc.) promoting the purchase and the use of Bosch products.
Support National Account locations within the District and assist in the attainment of sales goals.
Work closely with Product Reps to effectively promote the sale of Bosch products at all trade levels.
Attend and participate in sales meetings, conventions and trade shows.
Educate customers personnel to the attributes and advantages of selling Bosch products.
Handle customer complaints in accordance with company policy.
Develop and present an annual Business Plan for the District.
Maintain records, prepare and submit call, itinerary and expense reports as required.

Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Business or related field of study required. Formal education emphasis in sales/marketing principles is highly preferred; Will consider equivalent work experience in sales
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing techniques is required
Demonstrated analytical skills in developing strategies, resolving problems, leading projects
Comprehensive knowledge of Bosch and competitors products and services is a plus
Excellent verbal, written and persuasive communication skills
Strong computer skills in MS Office, i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.
Seeking a candidate that lives within the territory: Metro New York and Connecticut. There is limited overnight travel in this territory.
