Job Summary:
This position requires senior-level software sales expertise with a proven track record of prospecting and closing new business. The successful candidate has ideally sold enterprise software to the asset intensive and process industries and has a solid understanding of the work processes involved in managing their assets/equipment.
 Responsibilities:

Developing competitive sales plans/strategies for Meridium's software and professional services.
Meeting or exceeding assigned revenue goals by identification, contact, qualification and development of viable new accounts.
Managing the prospecting/demand creation plan development and execution for new greenfield accounts.
Developing, executing and delivering quality solution-focused client presentations
Presenting and articulating advanced product features, benefits, and overall product solutions
Developing and managing reference sites through high quality, technical and professional, client relationships

Knowledge of plant operations
Familiar with complex selling, value-based (consultative) opportunity management selling strategies
Stable work history
Ability to travel up to 50%
Bachelor’s degree required; B.S. in engineering, technical or scientific discipline preferred
 
    
5-7 years of experience in software sales evidenced by sustained over-quota performance and top performer awards
Experience with Enterprise-level software solutions in the asset intensive and process industries, i.e., ERP, EAM, and Maintenance Management
Experience selling SaaS based solutions
Proven track record of effectively communicating and presenting to the C-suite
Proven ability to access and communicate strategically at the C-level; Roanoke, Virginia, United States; User's other ads
