Job description:
We are looking for an outside salesperson in the Tampa area who is FASA or BASA certified.
The Service Sales Representative is primarily responsible for selling service work and meeting and/or exceeding company established sales quotas and gross profit margins. The Service Sales Representative is responsible for preparing accurate and timely sprinkler and alarm upfit and repair proposals.
Compensation for the position includes a base pay plus commissions. Established company vehicle and cell phone allowances are part of the compensation package for this position.
Position Responsibilities
1. On a monthly basis, prepare a minimum of 70 proposals for service repairs and upfits. Conduct
thorough site surveys to ensure accurate proposals as needed.
2. Hand deliver sales proposal to customer when possible or provide proposal via customer requested method.
3. Follow up with customers within 48 hours to ensure receipt of proposal and answer questions.
Continue to follow up with customer until proposal is approved.
4. Track all proposals and set up CRM reminders to follow up on all proposals with customers
according to when decision-making will occur.
5. Meet and/or exceed established company sales quota for service work.
6. Build relationships with customers that are strong enough to ensure a 25% capture rate and meet company established gross profit margin.
7. Build relationships with multiple contacts at multiple levels of customer companies. Ensure that
the relationships built give us the last look before decisions are made.
8. Pro-actively identify, pursue, and sell all life safety services opportunities with customers.
9. Be the direct point of contact with Top 100 customers for all services.
Experience, Education, and Skills Preferred
1. Excellent and professional communication skills to WOW our customers and potential customers
2. Effective time management, organizational, detail orientation, and multi-tasking skills
3. Minimum of three years' field experience plus strong closing ability.
4. Must be FASA/BASA certified

7. Works smart with minimal supervision and is self-motivated

9. Excellent follow-up and tracking skills
