SUMMARY:
Management Business Solutions is seeking to hire a Department Manager - Apparel in Aberdeen, SD. The department manager will be responsible for the Apparel, Accessories, Jewelry and Active Footwear departments. They will assist in growing store sales and profit while ensuring that customers are served appropriately through effective management over team members. Ideal candidates will have experience in Fashion Merchandising.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure departments meet all operational and merchandising goals.
Plan department operation requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
Consistently monitor by following up on work results.
Provides expertise and leadership in store policy and procedures.
Coach and build teammate relationships in a fast paced and ever changing environment.
Direct and motivate a team of diverse team members.
Maintain company commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2 years’ experience in a retail setting leading teams required.
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant business field or equivalent experience required .
Experience in Fashion Merchandising preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work in a fast paced and quickly changing environment.
Available to work early mornings, days, nights, and weekends to meet store needs.
