The Manager of Brand Development & Consumer Engagement is responsible for implementing experiential activities and events designed to engage customers and align to the company’s goal of revenue creation and loyalty-building in Roundy’s WI retail markets.  These goals will be accomplished through effective planning, influence building and use of internal and external resources.  This position will also be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, effectively presenting new ideas, communicating event plans and managing third-party agencies and vendors.
  ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

Plan, develop and execute differentiating customer experiences.
Manage third-party relationship with in-store demo agency.
Manage execution of sponsorship deliverables, including in-store activities and off-site events.
Partner with internal and external resources to develop and implement market-specific store events based on buying behavior, economic, demographic and psychographic information.
Manage tactical plans with philanthropic and community-centered organizations  including non-profits to assist with multi-store efforts. (ie. Salvation Army, Girl Scouts etc.
Measure and report on event efficacy.
Manage all point-of-sale based customer specific promotions and fund raising efforts.
Participate in the development and management of the annual event and activity budget.
Understand customer and market trends and provide a recommended sales event strategy. 
Participate in the development and implementation of marketing plans designed to build customer loyalty, increase sales and enhance profitability.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

BS/BA in Business/ Marketing. MBA preferred but not required.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams against a set of sales/ expense targets.
Ability to demonstrate thought leadership in sales strategy development.
Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to write presentations and incorporate data analysis.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of organization and initiative.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
3 to 5 years of retail marketing or equivalent experience is required.
