Description

The Order Manifest is in charge of the accurate execution and flow of the order manifesting (shipping) process within the order fulfillment function. They are to set the example and pace of manifesting in WorldLink, train and guide shippers, and act as the main point of contact with the Order Fulfillment Supervisor. They ensure that orders are being manifested accurately and ready to be invoiced or loaded onto an outbound truck.

• Pace and Flow of Orders

• Manifesting Accuracy

• Manifesting Station Layout

• Training & Troubleshooting

• Coordination with Packing and Invoicing/Warehouse



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manifesting orders accurately and in a timely manner

• Continuously review the “Dashboard” for order flow

• Setting the example and pace for the rest of the shippers

• Directing and training shippers in the orders they should be working on

• Help maintain the specified layout of the manifesting stations

• Ensure there are enough manifesting supplies on hand (labels, pouches, stock paper, etc.)

• Main point of contact between shippers and the Order Fulfillment Supervisor

• Communicating with other leads on the consistent flow of orders through the process

• Assist in troubleshooting miss-shipped orders and inventory issues

• Advising on proper levels of staffing to ensure all orders can be manifested

• Following special instructions and vendor compliance documents

• Ensuring proper manual charges are applied

• Setting example at facility for the high level of service

• Work closely with Order Release on address, service and account number issues.



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hands-on experience in packing (and invoicing)

• Highly accurate, efficient flow and consistent throughput skills

• Good time management skills

• Ability to communicate to and listen effectively when relating to co-workers and supervisors

• Extensive knowledge of WorldLink

• Basic computer skills (Email, Excel, Word and web browsing)



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in order release and picking

• Highly organized, detail oriented and sense of urgency in all matters

• Professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

• Typing over 50 words per minute
