We are seeking installation partners to install our custom Glide-Out shelving into existing kitchen cabinets in the Portland-Vancouver Metro & surrounding areas. ShelfGenie is an industry leader in selling, custom designing, manufacturing and installing glide-out shelves into existing kitchen cabinets, vanities, pantries and any spaces needing easy access. This is an excellent opportunity for independent handymen, re-modeler or installer to supplement their business with additional work in an expanding Portland market. We take care of the selling aspect and assign the jobs for you to install. These are "home-improvement" oriented clients who often need your talents elsewhere in the home, which equates to more opportunities for you. Working with ShelfGenie, you can grow your own business at the same time. Our Ideal candidate shall have the following skills: 1) Have an high school diploma or a college degree 2) Excellent people/inter-personal skills and willing to help clients by going a few extra steps 3) Must have some carpentry skills, construction, kitchen or bath remodeling, or handyman experience 4) Proficient in computer use, have an access to internet, ability to enter measurement data into the computer, and submit for manufacturing 5) Have flexible working hours and willing to meet deadlines, set appointments with clients in a timely fashion, and collect client testimonials regularly 6) Communicate regularly with the owner and designers, attend team meetings, and participate in team-building activities 7) Ability to collect pellets from the manufacturer and inspect them (quality control) before installation, have a suitable vehicle for transportation 8) Preference will be given to CCB licensed, bonded and insured contractors 9) Ask the hiring manager for ShelfGenie training requirements If this sounds like you, check out our website, http://www.shelfgenie.com/Installer, and then respond to this posting via email for additional information.
