Job Details:
This position will be located in the Employee Assistance Department located at the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, VA.
Support Carilion s hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities. Provide support to all Carilion EAP client companies through excellent counseling, consultation, coaching and training services. The consultant role exemplifies great customer service and leadership through timely response and quality of services delivered to both the internal EAP team and our external customers.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Education:Masters degree in counseling field required.

Experience:At least 5 years experience in EAP direct services required.

Licensure,

certification, and/or

registration:

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) inVirginiaor Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) inVirginiapreferred.Certified Employee Assistant Professional (CEAP) required, or procurement of such within 6 months of employment.Qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) with the Department of Transportation (DOT) required, or procurement of such within 6 months of employment.

Other Minimum

Qualifications:

Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills required.Familiarity with EAP core in Word Suite, especially Power Point expertise.CISD trained in Mitchell Model or comparative.Requires knowledge of organizational development concepts. Worksite coverage in Roanoke and NRV.
