JOB SUMMARY:
In accordance with The Arc of Anchorage’s mission, vision, and core values, the B.H.S. Team Leader II is responsible for ensuring all adult and children’s behavioral health services provided by their team. These duties are accomplished through direct supervision of Case Managers and program oversight. The B.H.S. Team Leader II is responsible for the daily operation of the program by managing its resources in an efficient manner with outcomes that are aligned with the personal outcomes of the individuals served. The B.H.S. Team Leader II is accountable to the person receiving supports, their team, and the agency.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: A minimum of three years’ experience working with people who experience an intellectual/developmental disability, severe emotional disturbance or serious mental illness, and a minimum of two years supervisory experience or a combination thereof equaling five years.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree preferred with concentration of study on social/human services, special education, or other directly related areas.
