Our client is an industry leading marketing solutions provider based in the Midwest. They are seeking a highly skilled junior to mid-level CAD Detailer to be a part of their production team. This person will produce assembly plans for custom exhibit fabrication and set-up drawings for on-site personnel, using 2D and 3D AutoCAD and Inventor software. If you have 1-3 years experience the trade show industry or related field our client would be interested in opening a dialogue with you.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Use AutoCad to prepare drawings of build projects – including details and fabrication descriptions
Complete software programming for each job to ensure that the exact design is cut to the shape desired
Specifying material, hardware, electrical/lighting specifications and building techniques
Maintain materials records
Project data input and progress tracking
Print either full-size patterns or scaled drawings for construction
Operate efficiently under time constraints and meets deadlines
Clearly communicate design intent onto drawings
Work with minimal supervision, both alone and in teams
Demonstrate knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
Utilize effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams
Demonstrating excellent attention to detail
Proficiency with the latest versions of AutoCAD
Prioritize workload and communicate issues to ensure on time completion of jobs

REQUIREMENTS:

Advanced Language, Math(Geometry), and reasoning skills
High School Diploma or GED required
Associates Degree or vocational training preferred
1-3years experience
Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite 2013, 3D and 2D AutoCAD, and Inventor
Demonstrated drafting knowledge/skills
Engineering and efficient building techniques
Mechanical Aptitude
