Job description:
Reporting to the company President, this position holds business responsibility for all of manufactured products, including Dynamometers and related products and the Manufacturing Parts Business Unit and works closely with Sales & Marketing to establish market plans.

Responsibilities include: development and implementation of a 5-year strategic product plan to accomplish corporate goals, directing and coordinating staffing, training, and performance evaluations for all personnel within the division and preparing a 5-year business plan including sales, costs, and cash flow sources and uses, including investment requirements.

As Head of the Products Division, this individual will need to present to customers, financial institutions, engineering associations, Board of Directors and other entities, as required.

Duties will include tracking industry trends, relevant legislation, and competitor activities, in collaboration with the VP of Sales and Marketing. Reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.

A Master's Degree in an engineering discipline is preferred - Bachelor's acceptable, MBA desired, along with formal training in program management and knowledge of government contracting.

15+ years of technical product management experience, 8-10 years minimum which have been at or above the business unit management level managing interdepartmental activities with direct customer contact. Direct Sales and Marketing experience is a plus.

Technical knowledge of the turbomachinery domain is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, excellent technical and people skills, with a working knowledge of business principles. Must have an appreciation of modern quality systems.
Bottom Line Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineer. Master's Degree in an engineering discipline is preferred. MBA desired.
