Ensure Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures are followed while leading a team of employees at a large scale food production facility. Work with the Food Safety Quality Manager to do new product research and develop projects to test that objectives are met and assess how new products are being implemented.

Knowledge and Experience:

*** Two to five (2-5) years experience in Food Production.

*** Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as related to food processing and production.

*** Understand Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines as well as USDA and FDA requirements.

Activities:

*** Ensure compliance with industry standards in food production.

*** Certify that all local, state and federal regulatory acceptable practices are followed.

*** Drive continuous improvement and come up with new procedures as necessary.

Compensation up to $60,000 with overtime and discretionary bonuses. Full health benefits including medical, dental, vision, liability and life provided along with matched 401(k) and retirement plan. Position allows advancement within one of the largest food production companies in North America.
