Title: Manufacturing Operations Manager
Location: Scranton, PA
Relocation Assistance: Negotiable
The Operations Manager will be leading the manufacturing activities for two facilities located in Pennsylvania. The primary responsibilities will include continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts, cost control and budget attainment, on time delivery, capital planning, quality, lean six sigma initiatives, develop strategies to achieve operational objectives for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly targets, process optimization and other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred
* Minimum of 5 - 7 years metal forming/manufacturing operations experience, aerospace industry highly preferred
* At least 2 years at senior level managerial responsibility with P/L responsibility.
* Maintenance experience is desired (Hydraulic, mechanical or electrical)
* Strategic planning experience and analytical problem solving skills.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills.
* In depth knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing practices.
* Theory of Constraints experience.
* Self motivated and achievement oriented.
* A demonstrated ability to hold direct reports accountable.
* Working knowledge of MS Office and mainframe spreadsheets & databases.
