Diversified chemical manufacturer and distributor looking for a Plant Electrician.

Desired Qualifications

* Journeyman level skills and experience (5 + years)
* Experience must be in commercial/industrial environment. No residential.
* Prior experience in a chemical or petro-chemical manufacturing environment
preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to work safely and product quality work.
* Successful history of working in a team environment.
* Demonstrated ability to own work processes and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of and demonstrated application of general maintenance skills.
* Knowledge of electrical codes as they pertain to an industrial manufacturing
environment.
* Experience with 480 3-phase motors.
* Familiarity with LOTO (lock-out/tag-out) disciplines.
* Instrumentation and controls experience a huge plus.

Major Accountabilities

* Complete projects as assigned by the maintenance manager.
* Serve as a subject matter expert in regard to the electrical component of
installation and maintenance of pumps, motors, compressors, mixing equipment,
lighting, etc.
* Work with other maintenance team members to comprehensively complete
maintenance projects.
* Shifts - Willingness to work afternoon/swing shift.
