We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise and lead a team of Maintenance Associates in the daily maintenance and operations of a military residential community. You will maintain the physical assets and performance of the communities to achieve the highest possible net operating income. You will also monitor regulatory compliance and company policies and procedures related to property management. This position gives you considerable responsibility over the welfare of the communities you will be working with and is thus essential to maintaining Forest City's standard of exceptional service in our military housing division. In this position your responsibilities will include:
• Leading and managing a team of associates on a day-to-day basis
• Maintaining a strong knowledge of all maintenance programs and capital improvement projects
• Maintaining current knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Implementing approved budget on a day to day basis
• Managing the efficient operation of maintenance functions
• Ensuring the preservation of the property and its value
• Communicating with residents and addressing their concerns

To become a valuable member of our team we are looking for the following:
• High school diploma/GED and Vocational Training; Associate degree preferred
• Valid current state's drivers license
• CFC Certification
• 3-5 years experience in property management, general maintenance, supervisory skills and budget implementation
• Minimum 3 years maintenance technician experience
• Knowledge of maintenance programs gained through formal education or on-the-job training
• Ability to life 50 pounds, subject to physical examination
