PeopleReady ofColumbia has an immediate opening forGeneral Labors in West Columbia, SC.Are you looking for immediate work and that makes an immediate positive impact? Are you the type of person who loves diversity in your work day? We are now hiring for General Labor with a real passion for working with their hands to chip in at clients' jobsite's. You will be working in a large facility, typically a warehouse, as it's being prepared for use. The job duties vary, sometimes even day-to-day at the same site. Some examples include putting empty boxes of varying sizes on a conveyors' system throughout the warehouse as a part of testing process, doing janitorial work to keep the jobsite clean & safe, and standard warehouse cross-dock operations.

Note - Pay Rate for this Job is $23/Hour

Shift Timing -1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening)

Responsibilities Include:

• Moving, securing, installing, building, loading, or unloading materials
• Assisting in the building or construction of various things
• Putting or removing tape on floor
• Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment
• Moving items from place to place, according to direction from the site supervisor
• Assisting in the assembly of fencing

Qualifications:

• There is no minimal educational requirement
• Valid Photo ID to gain access to job site
• Strong work ethic
• Some assignment have additional screening requirements, such as background checks and/or drug tests
