Denver office of an AmLaw firm seeks mid-level employment and labor associate attorney with 4-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate must have experience in the following areas: Employment law in the context of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and drafting of employment-related terms in merger agreements and stock and asset purchase agreements, deal-related executive employment and separation agreements, and disclosure schedules; Review and drafting of various workplace policies, work rules, and handbooks for employers with operations and employees nationwide; Experience providing practical advice for management-side clients regarding various workplace laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the National Labor Relations Act, and the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act; Experience handling all phases of discovery; Experience assisting with matters before numerous administrative agencies, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and state fair employment practices agencies.

Additional Skills: The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, superior analytical skills and the ability to manage client engagements. Other requirements include excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility.
