San Francisco office of our client, a Chambers ranked law firm, is actively seeking associates to join our Land Use and Natural Resources Group. The candidate should have 1-3 years of experience. Knowledge of CEQA is a key. Experience with NEPA, the Planning and Zoning Laws, Endangered Species Acts, Clean Water Act, Coastal Act and the Subdivision Map Act is highly desirable. Litigation background is also a plus.
Additional Skills: The candidate should have excellent writing and communication skills, strong academic credentials.
The small San Francisco office of this vigorous firm specializes in real estate law, environmental law, and civil litigation. The firm boasts an extremely dynamic group of attorneys; the firms partnership is both young (most are in their 30s and 40s) and talented. Associates are treated very well, and people are generally quite happy working here. Retention is incredibly high; in fact, approximately two-thirds of the associates who joined the firm in the last five years are still at the firm. Despite the firms size, salaries are only slightly below market.
