Atlanta office of our client, a Chambers ranked law firm, is actively seeking associates to join our Corporate Transactional Group. The candidate will be managing client relationships and a broad array of corporate matters. Will be representing buyers, investors and sellers in stock purchases, asset purchases, mergers and joint ventures. Drafting agreements, conducting diligence reviews and coordinating deal closings. Supporting the practice by performing general research and writing as needed. Supervising junior associates. Managing transactional specialists. Should have 5-6 years of legal experience in a major national or international law firm or transactional oriented in-house. Experience drafting key legal documents for corporate transactional matters is required. Mergers and acquisition transactional experience is preferred. Additional experience in financing transactions is a plus. Securities experience is a plus. Should preferably be Licensed or eligible to practice law in the State of Georgia and must be in good standing in any licensed jurisdiction(s).

Additional Skills: The candidate should have excellent written communication skills and an ability to produce written work product that is concise and effective. Possesses strong analytical skills and thinks strategically. Is conscientious, with a proven attention to detail. Should have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to clearly communicate advice to clients and others. Must understand the importance client service. Embraces teamwork and works effectively with others who have different styles. Is ambitions, exhibits leadership and motivates others. Should have a sincere interest in career development and welcomes feedback. Is dedicated, with a record of academic and professional success.
