Los Angeles, CA or San Antonio, TX - Lumen Legal is working with a healthcare/technology client who has a need for a Compliance/Regulatory HIPAA attorney for either Los Angeles or San Antonio office.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years of of Health plan credentialing and/or physician office credentialing experience and HIPPA regulatory compliance expereince. Candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the compliance requirements and regulations. Candidate must also have advanced experience with credentialing and regulatory rules for Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Compensation, and other related health plans. Strong organizational and communication skills, strong computer and software skills are a must and the ability to work in team settings and independently. Selected candidate must have the ability to travel up 25% of the time. In addition, a San Antonio candidate must complete training onsite in California for approximately 1 month housing provided by client). Candidate must possess a Juris Doctor degree and it is also preferred to also be a licensed attorney in good standing.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity anticipated to begin as soon possible and is a full time position (35-40 hours/week). The contract assignment is expected to last approximately 4 months
