Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a
Javascript/Node.JS Engineer
for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial clients in new york, NY.
We are looking for a strong Javascript Engineer with extensive experience in server side javascript using NodeJS and performance tuning.
This role will involve writing custom C++ Node modules for connectivity to internal systems.
Prior work experience in C++ in a Unix environment is required.
This role will be additionally responsible for performance measurement and analysis of web applications.
Ideal candidate should have solid grasp of browser rendering engines, cpu/gpu utilization, network interaction and memory management.
Knowledge of one or more performance metrics measurement, analytics and profiling tools is highly desirable.
