International Law Firm is seeking a Senior SQL Developer to be located in any of the firms national offices-. Boston, Massachusetts, New York, NY, San Francisco, Broomfield, Colorado, Palo Alto, California, Seattle, Washington, Los Angeles, California, Reston, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
The Senior SQL Developer will lead the design, build, verify, implement and maintain the structure of databases to support the firm's business needs, including integration of vendor database solutions into the data environment. The developer will also provide database programming, design and systems analysis. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a Microsoft SQL development role building solutions to support medium to large scale business initiatives and strong SQL programming skills. Also required is experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2 or higher (2012/2014 preferred) and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS preferred). Other qualifications include previous data warehousing/data integration experience; understanding of source and target data structures, ETL processes, and products; extensive knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices (SSRS, Clarity, Crystal Reports); excellent understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices; hands-on database tuning and troubleshooting experience; in-depth experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques and excellent working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting database servers. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or other related discipline is preferred, as is experience with law firm applications, such as Worksite, Wall Builder, WRM, CPA Inprotech. Also preferred is experience developing IntApp Integration Builder solutions and experience with web development, Microsoft .Net framework, or other programming paradigms.
