We are seeking participants for a large-scale US Spanish voice rating project.
The voice rating project will involve listening to different computer voices in US Spanish and providing ratings and comments according to how natural they sound. The evaluation you provide will be used for research into the production of natural-sounding synthetic speech, helping to develop existing technologies in computer voices in order to improve their authenticity.
To qualify for the project, you must be a male native speaker of US Spanish. You must be available to complete the tasks within a few days after kickoff in late May and you will need access to a computer with Firefox or Chrome, as the web tool does not work properly on mobile browsers or Internet Explorer/Safari.
The task length is yet to be confirmed but it is expected to be somewhere between 1 and 3 hours in length, and the pay will be confirmed accordingly once the task details are known.
