Job Duties:
Quality care is delivered to all patients in accordance with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Practice Standards developed by the American Nurses Association. Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator, this position provides quality office care to inpatient psychiatric patients.
Performs and supervises professional level generic and psych mental health nursing according to established standards.
Provides direct patient care
Supervise nursing assessments
Supervise medications and treatments
Supervise treatment programs and documents accordingly;
Participates in team meetings; assess patients’ behavior and treatment progress
Develops, implements and revises Nursing Care Plans
Completes performance appraisals
Coordinate personnel to maintain a therapeutic environment
Provide and/or made provision for patient education
Provide leadership and positive role modeling for staff
Minimum Qualifications:
one year of work experience as an office manager
Satisfactory criminal background check and drug testing is required.
