- 8+ years of technical experience, completion of at least 7 full professional software engineering projects across multiple platforms

- IT consulting experience, proven track record delivering enterprise solutions for Fortune 500 companies

- Experience with the following:

creating presentations and technical design documents

application servers and packages from major vendors (Oracle, IBM, JBoss)

Relational Database modeling, experience creating advanced SQL queries / procedures, experience with object relational mapping frameworks

open source frameworks such as Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Axis, Velocity, etc

working with one or more Rich Internet Technologies (JavaScript, Flex, Silverlight Frameworks)

knowledge of one of the following application development platforms (Java / Java EE, .NET, Ruby on Rails, PHP)

software design fundamentals and design patterns

- Proficient with web languages, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

- Expertise in enterprise solution architecture definition, object oriented design, object oriented programming, and rich internet applications design.

- Proficient with standard development tools, including ANT, Maven, CruiseControl, JUnit, and popular IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA

- Capable of driving the technical aspects of sales endeavors and to provide strong support to the efforts of the Office of Technology

- Strong enterprise integration experience

- Computer networking and Unix fundamentals

- Detailed understanding of traditional waterfall and agile software development methodologies including (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Rational Unified Process, Lean Software Development)

- Understanding of Service Oriented Architectures and Web Service architectures

- Knowledge of Internet security and strong experience in architecting secure applications

- Significant experience with tuning and refactoring code and assessing the impact of architectural decisions on performance and scalability

- Major analytics packages (Google, Omniture, etc.)

- Knowledge of NoSQL Databases (Hadoop, MongoDB, etc.); San Francisco, California, United States; User's other ads
