Due to expansion a premiere client of Key Technical's is seeking a Product Engineer to add to their staff. This position can be either a contract to direct or direct hire opportunity. Our client company is expanding rapidly and needs great people to help them grow.
Position Summary:
• Establish specifications and evaluations for new product
• Provide support for the design, scale-up and automation of new and/or existing product manufacturing lines
• Investigate, plan and implement the introduction of new materials/processes into the manufacturing process
• Establish methodologies for the thorough investigation and resolution of recurring mode-failures of existing products
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Materials Science
• Previous design, manufacturing or programming experience desired
• Previous experience in steel mills or other molten metals processing facilities highly desired.
• Familiarity with sensor technologies preferred.
