Principal Usability/Human Factors Engineer - - TS-SCI-Polygraph
 

Candidate shall have at least fifteen (15) years in this or related field and have familiarity with task analyses, user interface design, and usability testing.
Candidate shall have experience planning, conducting, and coordinating Usability/HFE activities.
Shall have experience with SW development Methodologies (that is, extreme, scrum, kanban).
Candidate shall have demonstrated the ability to solve complex user problems.
Candidate shall have experience  in technical leadership, demonstrated through leading  meetings such as scrums, team meetings, and customer briefs, reporting of team status, identifying risks.
Shall have experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, user community, or program management.
Candidate shall have experience with a variety of user experience design and prototyping technologies and methods.
Candidate shall be experienced in each of the usability and software engineering cycle phases (analysis, design, implementation, and deployment).
Candidate shall have experience working closely with users (analysts) to research for and document user profiles, analysis tasks, workflows, and user scenarios.
Candidate shall have experience working with users to collect and document user requirements.
Candidate shall have experience creating user interface design specifications.
Candidate shall be experienced in working closely with product designers and process engineers developing applications.
Candidate shall have experience conducting usability testing.
Candidate shall be experienced in designing and developing user surveys to obtain user feedback.

Desired Qualifications
 

An advanced degree, or equivalent experience, in cognitive and/or experimental psychology or human factors engineering is desired and have user-centered design and testing experience.
Professional usability engineering or human factors certification.
