Our client is growing and they need to add another Mechanical Engineer to their staff. They develop industrial chemical coating equipment and sell world-wide. This engineer must be experienced in the development of OEM equipment and not only parts. They are located in the Eau Claire area, about 90 minutes from the Twin Cities. It is a great place to raise a family.

Requirements:
1.     BS Mechanical Engineering
2. 2+ years’ experience, at least some of it designing paint finishing equipment (air units, cure ovens, pre-treatment washers, paint booths). The hiring manager's hot buttons are airflow and ovens, prefer experience but at least strong interest within their industry.
3. Design of equipment for manufacturability using CAD is needs, AutoCAD is preferred
4.     You must be able to establish and effectively communicate design and function of equipment with customers, sales staff and manufacturing group.
5.     You must be able to calculate air flow, heat balance and energy consumption.

Duties:
1.     You will work with other engineers and drafting department to design of ventilation systems for the paint booths and other related equipment
2.     Work with sales departments to review potential orders and help develop equipment proposals.
3.     You will work in a project team approach to large projects that includes participation in design through commissioning.
4.     This position will require occasional travel, 10% - 20% as technical expert to sales team
