A leading manufacturer of automotive components located near Cookeville, TN is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead all Maintenance, Facilities, R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Engineering, Tooling and Environmental Engineering functions for this plant of over 800 people. The team of about 50 people will include engineers, supervisors, specialists, technicians, etc. in each of the functional areas. This position reports to the Plant Manager. A BS degree in Engineering from an accredited university is mandatory, along with at least 5 years of engineering management experience. Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degrees are strongly preferred. Knowledge must include Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, facilities maintenance, continuous improvement, equipment reliability, EPA, OSHA, tooling, capital project engineering, product development, process development, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and budgeting. Supervisory and management experience of at least 25 people is required. This company offers excellent benefits including a substantial relocation package.
