Minco has an outstanding opportunity for you to join our Flex Business Unit production area as a full-time Assembler II in our wet processing area. In this role, you will solder, etch and plate. You'll have the opportunity to maintain machines and work on continuous improvement projects. You'll work closely with other assemblers and members of the production team and what you do will have an important impact on the company and our customers. Every day, you will be responsible for delighting the customer, practicing continuous improvement and operating within our company’s “icare” values while growing and developing in your role.

* Understand written and verbal instructions relating to work methods, tasks, and requirements
* Assemble components based on work instructions
* Receive training and guidance on materials and equipment required to complete the assigned work process
* Identify required information and data to complete paperwork based on standards and work methods
* Identify quality at the source and communicate with production leads, supervisors, co-workers, maintenance, quality control, warehousing to ensure quality products
* Handle and label tools, materials, and equipment according to safety and operational principles and practices
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment and may perform various janitorial or housekeeping tasks within work area
* Comply with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment, quality products, and efficient operations
* Perform machine maintenance
* Read and interpret drawings
* Assist team with continuous improvement projects
* Work with chemicals
* Our current business environment requires that employees be able to speak, read and write English at an 8th grade level or higher

Basic Qualifications:
* One year (or more) of experience in a manufacturing environment
* High School Diploma or GED
* This position requires use of information or access to hardware and software which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with etching, plating and soldering
* Experience with electrical testing
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Continuous Improvement training or experience
* Machine maintenance experience
* Experience working with chemicals such as HCL, Nitric and Sulfric Acids
Professional Skills Required:
* Open to feedback and direction from production supervisor, quality and group leader
* Work well in a team environment
Physical Requirements:
* Able to stand for extended periods of time
* Lifting 50 lbs. on a daily basis

This position is a regular full-time position located in our headquarters in Fridley, Minnesota
