Position Summary:
Responsible for hosting and producing a 2 hour live weekday afternoon talk show on KGNW. Work with the sales department in recruiting and securing advertisers for the show. Voice promos and commercials for the Salem Seattle radio group. Basically be the primary on-air personality for KGNW, which may include off-site personal appearances, and other duties as assigned by Program Director.

Compensation:
Depends on Experience with a full benefits package and a positive work environment.
This is a Full-Time (min 30hr week) salaried/exempt position

Hours:
Live show is a maximum of 2 hours, currently 2 4 p.m. weekdays with a minimum of 4 hours daily prep for each show.

Requirement of Position:
Minimum 2 years of experience hosting a large market call-in radio talk show, be familiar with current events (local, national and international), book interviews with experts regarding these events as well as interviews dealing with topics of interest to the local Christian community. Be available for off-site remotes and appearances which may include evenings and weekends.

Personality Traits:
Flexible, organized, team-minded individual with good organizational skills. Able to work with little supervision. Good interpersonal skills are a must with the ability to adapt to a changing and challenging environment.
