Overview:


CRGT Inc. is seeking to hire a Help Desk Specialist to support our Carlisle Barracks customer. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience, A+ or Network+ certification, and within six months of employment the candidate must obtain a Security+ certification. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner and has a track record of resolving technical issues as well as customer service issues. The selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.




Key Responsibilities:

Provide first level call support for the Service Desk/Network Operations Center.
Create incident tickets, verify machine configuration and actively escalate issues as needed.
Provide Level 1 technical support and escalate calls to the proper department members if the technical issue cannot be completed by end of call.
Document all communications through incident tickets including but not limited to: phone, email, part orders including tracking numbers
Troubleshoot networking and communication problems
Analyze log files
Work cooperatively with client technical support groups when troubleshooting




Requirements:



1 years of Information Technology experience
Current A+ or Network+ Certification
Excellent Customer service skills, including possessing good interpersonal skills, telephone techniques with active listening, questioning, and writing skills.
Must be a US citizen
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Must be able to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Compliant certification, such as Security+ within 6 months of start




Preferred:



Current Security+
Current ITIL Foundation training and certification
Experience providing help desk support
Previous Army experience
