Our client’s mission is to further drive the growth of their Publisher client base through successful uptake of their Programmatic solution. The VP of Business Development will be an experienced professional in the online advertising industry and will be responsible for identifying and securing deals with the Ad Exchanges to sell their solution to Publisher clients. The position entails elements of sales, account management and knowledge of yield management.

The role is perfect for a credible Senior level Sales figure who still enjoys deal-making and is excited to join a start-up in a fast moving environment.

Responsibilities:

Proactively engage in new business conversations with Ad Exchanges and qualify their ability to become successful clients

Meet Publisher needs by demonstrating how the technology and services can be applied to their business

Manage business negotiation and close deals

Build strong relationships with senior management of existing & prospective clients

Monitor the performance of key Publisher clients and get involved with corrective actions and improvements as appropriate

Build the brand and knowledge of our technology on the market through industry events

Contribute ideas to company's overall supply acquisition strategy and marketing offers

Provide inputs in the product development feedback loop

The Person:

Experience in selling or marketing technology products with the digital advertising space

Passionate about working in a fast paced, demanding and fluid start-up environment

Proven ability to sell advertising technology or products to the exchanges to add value to their Publisher clients

Excellent negotiation skills - experience with contract negotiation.
