Work closely with our advertising staff, management and editor providing sales and event planning support. Assist in organizing all aspects of an event, and act as a liaison between clients both internal and external as well as outside vendors. If you are detailed, organized with experience working with clients and vendors, with a winning personality, we want to hear from you.

Job Duties:

Identify, create and implement signature events in support of clients of the Orlando Sentinel.
Maintain event files such as event timelines, contracts, correspondence, permits, insurance, invoices and a master calendar of all events.
Process and maintain vendor information.
Work closely with Event Advertising Manager and Marketing Division to schedule and confirm event promotion dates for in print and multi-media as required.
Communicate with internal and external customers on advertising materials in support of our clients’ advertising needs.
Foster open communication among all stakeholders.
Prepare reports on advertising prospects and sales pipeline activities and opportunities for Sales Management.
Work closely with management team to develop special events.

Job Requirements:

3-5 years related work experience in advertising, marketing or communications preferred.
A proven history of driving measurable results.
Strong organizational, written and presentation skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & standard Social Media
Self-motivated
Extremely outgoing and attentive with good communication skills.
A self-disciplined, multi-tasker with a strong attention to detail.
